Lehre und Wissenschaft
Gute Medizin kann sich nur weiterentwickeln, wenn der Drang besteht, die Behandlungsmöglichkeiten für Patienten immer wieder zu überprüfen und zu verbessern. Dazu bedarf es gründlicher und systematischer Forschung. Das Jüdische Krankenhaus Berlin ist akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus der Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. In der Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie wird Studentenunterricht abgehalten, unsere leitenden Ärztinnen und Ärzte sind an der universitären Lehre und Forschung beteiligt. Nicht zuletzt damit wird garantiert, dass die Diagnostik und Therapie von Erkrankungen immer auf dem aktuellsten Kenntnisstand und höchstem Qualitätsniveau durchgeführt wird.
Um dieses höchste Qualitätsniveau halten zu können, nehmen wir an wissenschaftlichen Studien teil oder führen sie selbst durch. Die Durchführungsvoraussetzungen unterliegen strengen ethischen und qualitativen Normen. Auf die aktuelle Behandlung unserer Patientinnen und Patienten haben unsere wissenschaftlichen Studien keinen Einfluss, sondern bilden nur die Grundlage für zukünftige Verbesserungen.
